Arizona’s chief federal regulations enforcement officer to resign

PHOENIX (AP) – U.S. Authorized skilled Michael Bailey presented his resignation because the executive federal regulations enforcement officer in Arizona, effective Feb. 28.

The Arizona Republic experiences that Bailey is stepping down alongside with other high prosecutors across the nation who safe been appointed by frail President Donald Trump.

The U.S. Department of Justice requested dozens of attorneys appointed by Trump to resign as part of a routine transition between administrations.

Bailey became once nominated to wait on as U.S. Authorized skilled for the District of Arizona in February 2019 to absorb a jam that became once left vacant for 2 years following the resignation of John Leonardo.

Bailey became once confirmed by the U.S. Senate three months later.

Sooner than his appointment, Bailey served 4 ½ years because the executive deputy to Arizona Authorized skilled General Trace Brnovich.

In an announcement Tuesday, Bailey stated he became once happy with his work in combating crime and drug change and combating fraud all over the COVID-19 pandemic.
