CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — The tip of the enviornment obtained a first light special Thursday — a “ring of fire” solar eclipse.

This so-called annular eclipse began on the Canadian province of Ontario, then swept at some level of Greenland, the North Pole and in a roundabout procedure Siberia, because the moon passed all of the sudden in front of the solar.

An annular eclipse occurs when a brand original moon is round its farthest level from us and showing smaller, and so it doesn’t entirely blot out the solar when it be ineffective center.
