Justin Fields no longer elated with Bears fans being ‘disrespectful’ to Andy Dalton

Rookie quarterback Justin Fields has shown flashes of brilliance at some stage in his first two preseason games with the Chicago Bears, and it has fans calling for him to be the team’s Week 1 starter.

Dalton shared his thoughts on the fans booing him.

“It’s piece of it,” Dalton acknowledged. “They are looking to appear a merely product out there. I didn’t hear any boos after the touchdown high-tail that I threw. So optimistically they’ll be cheering loads.”

After the recreation, head coach Matt Nagy acknowledged that Dalton is aloof the team’s starter.
