UNC soccer head coach Mack Brown used to be compelled to admit his Tar Heels team used to be overrated after being upset by Virginia Tech.

Anybody who watched the Virginia Tech Hokies upset the North Carolina Tar Heels on Friday night knows one thing: UNC soccer is now no longer the No. 10 team in the nation.

Even head coach Mack Brown admits it.

“Obviously the shine’s off,” Brown talked about after the recreation, by the use of ESPN. “The rankings mean nothing at this level. We had been overrated tonight.”
