ZZ High Performs First Concert Following the Loss of life of Longtime Bassist Dusty Hill

ZZ High announced in an announcement on Wednesday (July 28) that Hill had died at age 72.

“We are saddened by the knowledge currently that our Compadre, Dusty Hill, has passed away in his sleep at dwelling in Houston,” the community wrote. “We, alongside with legions of ZZ High followers across the sphere, will pass over your steadfast presence, your lawful nature and enduring commitment to offering that enormous bottom to the ‘High.’ We can with no raze in sight be connected to that ‘Blues Hump in C.'”

ZZ High used to be on tour when it announced July 23 that Hill, who joined the band in 1970, used to be heading dwelling “to address a hip inform.” Per the community’s Facebook online page, Hill had acknowledged that “the present must tear on,” and so Francis crammed in to play breeze guitar, bass, and harmonica.
